ADSL upgrade reaches 56 regions

Lebanon’s PSTN operator Ogero has reported that progress continues in its upgrade of ADSL speeds across the country, with 56 regions now receiving internet speeds of at least 1Mbps following its most recent equipment installations carried out in eight additional areas. A statement issued by the telco on Sunday and reported by the Daily Star newspaper said that subscribers in Bekfaya, Kfaryassine, Byblos, Baalbek, Baabda, Souk al-Gharb, Chim and Chekka would benefit from the upgrade from Tuesday onwards
