Croatia’s total number of mobile broadband subscribers reached 332,500 at the end of September 2011, up by 7.2% year-on-year, reported the country’s telecoms regulator, HAKOM. The fixed broadband subscriber base, meanwhile, grew by 10.3% over the twelve months to 845,000, although the rate of growth slowed over the period. In the six months ended 30 September there were 17,000 net new Croatian fixed broadband users, compared to the 62,000 new users added in the previous half-year ended March 2011.
