Myrepublica reports that state owned incumbent operator Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (Nepal Telecom, or NT) plans to bring into service a fleet of vehicle-mounted GSM base transceiver stations (BTS) to improve the quality of its service. ‘We’ve already procured three vehicles. The mobile BTS will start operation once [the] necessary equipment [is purchased],’ said NT managing director Amar Nath Singh, on Monday.
