Filipino operator PLDT plans to migrate its entire fixed telephony subscriber base to its new next generation network (NGN) by 2013 as it looks to increase the uptake of broadband data services. The telco's president Napoleon Nazareno says that around 60% of its roughly 1.8 million subscribers have already been upgraded to the NGN.
