Australian alternative broadband provider iiNet has announced plans to expand its ADSL2+ coverage in both Darwin and regional Queensland, with around 38,500 inhabitants across those regions expected to benefit from the plans. The internet service provider (ISP) has said that it plans to continue its ‘multi-million dollar investment into Australia's regional areas’, with Casuarina, Nightcliff and Palmerston to receive major network upgrades, work which it said would complement a recent update at the Darwin exchange
