Iliad hit with fine for throttling

A French consumer group says that telco and internet service provider (ISP) Iliad has been fined EUR100,000 (USD132,600) for slowing the internet connections of some customers. A report from Dow Jones says that the General Direction of Competition, Consumption and Fraud began an investigation into Iliad’s marketing practices in 2007
