German cable operator Kabel Deutschland has announced it generated revenue of EUR427.3 million (USD560.8 million) in the third fiscal quarter ended 31 December 2011, an increase of 5.4% compared to the year-ago period, on the back of a 14.2% year-on-year rise in internet and telephony revenue to EUR137.4 million. Turnover generated by the company’s television services totalled EUR289.9 million in Q3, up 1.7% over the year-ago quarter. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 8% from EUR185.2 million in the quarter ended 31 December 2010 to EUR200.0 million in the corresponding period of 2011, with the EBITDA margin climbing from 45.7% to 46.8% over the same timeframe
