Lebanese state-owned mobile operator Alfa, managed by Orascom Telecom, has signed a deal with Astellia to provide an enhanced quality of service (QoS) monitoring system for its 3G network. Assaad Abousleiman, Alfa’s chief technology officer, announced: ‘This partnership comes in line with the national QoS network plan for 2012 which has set concrete targets.
