Canadian mobile operator Mobilicity has revealed plans to upgrade its entire 3.5G W-CDMA/HSPA network to 21Mbps HSPA+ standard ‘later this year’. The two-year old cellco’s president Stewart Lyons announced that data already accounts for 90% of traffic on Mobilicity’s network – currently covering Toronto, Ottawa, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver – with usage driven by demand for its ‘affordable, unlimited’ data packages
