PTCL wins USF project for Balochistan

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTCL) has been awarded a PKR3.15 billion (USD33.12 million) project to deliver basic telephony and data services to the Mastung district of Balochistan province reports local daily The Nation. The project is backed by the Universal Service Fund (USF) and is part of the country’s Rural Telecom Services Project. Under the agreement, PTCL will roll out services to 102 unserved villages in the region, with a total population of 74,831.
