Telecom NZ signs wholesale UFB agreement with Northpower Fibre

Telecom New Zealand has announced that it has signed a wholesale services agreement with Northpower Fibre which will allow it to deliver fibre-based services to the Whangarei region. Northpower was one of the few non-Telecom NZ companies to be awarded a government contract by Crown Fibre Holdings (CFH) in May 2011, as part of the country’s Ultra Fast Broadband (UFB) initiative.
