France Telecom-Orange (FT-Orange) chief executive Stephane Richard is predicting that group revenues will reach EUR44 billion (USD56 billion) in 2012, down from EUR45.3 billion last year. Analysts polled by Bloomberg had been forecasting 2012 sales of EUR43.4 billion. Richard says that revenue growth is likely to come from FT’s operations in the Middle East and Africa, helping to counteract an expected fall in sales in the domestic market and at some other European operations.
