Japan’s NTT DoCoMo will invest a total of JPY880 billion (USD11 billion) in the rollout of Long Term Evolution (LTE) network infrastructure in the country by the end of fiscal 2015, and will offer its first LTE smartphones this winter, Reuters quotes the cellco’s president and CEO Ryuji Yamada, as saying.
