Following the signing of a network cooperation deal with Telefonica Germany (O2) last week, Deutsche Telekom (DT) has announced it has agreed to pay regional operator NetCologne for the use of its fibre-optic infrastructure as it seeks to expand its network. The agreement represents the first time that DT will reach its end-users via another operator’s fibre-optic infrastructure.
