T-Mobile’s Czech subsidiary has unveiled dual-carrier HSPA+ (DC-HSPA+) technology on its 3G networks in the country, promising end users real time download speeds of between 25Mbps and 30Mbps, cellularnews reports. The launch follows a successful pilot trial to residents of Zlin and Mlada Boleslav at the end of 2011, with T-Mobile now promising to roll out DC-HSPA+ to other selected locations during the course of this year. It is understood that the enhanced service will initially be available to customers in Mlada Boleslav and Zlin from 16 April, followed by Prague, including the cellco’s HQ in the Roztyly district, by the end of April.
