The Dominican Republic cable operator Aster Comunicaciones has been sold via auction to local utility group Consorcio Energetico Punta Cana-Macao (CEPM) for USD27 million. Domestic telcos Codetel, Tricom and Wind Telecom also participated in the auction process, NexTV LatAm reports
